For all of you who want to recall the feeling of ICPS 2010, we created a Picasa Photo Album. http://picasaweb.google.at/117747687518744732454. Your Uploads are welcome. If you want to upload please ask for a password at email@example.com.
We hope, we'll see each other next year in Budapest!
Today we sent the Arrival Instructions to all participants of the ICPS 2010 in Graz. We hope that they will help you to find your way to the registration desk in Graz. Additionally, you will find a lecture timetable as a little appetizer.
Hard to believe, but there are still some places left. So, if you're free from Aug 17 to Aug 23, don't hesitate and register for the ICPS 2010 in Graz now!
We are very excited about the upcoming event! Everything goes like clockwork.
At the moment we are preparing a contest, called "The Can Effect", for which you are invited to develop a machine based on a physical effect. The task is to open a can in an uncommon and innovative way. If you want to enter the competition you will have to bring your prefabricated device to the event or built it here in Graz (you will have to bring your own equipment).
Another thing we want to remind you of, is the deadline (June, 30th) for submitting an abstract for a poster and/or a lecture. Up to this date, it is also possible to modify existing presentations. We will review all abstracts in July and we will then notify you about the acceptance as soon as possible.
We're happy to seeing you soon!
On request of IAPS, we had to shuffle the waiting list, in order to avoid greater imbalances concerning the participating countries' distribution. Those who have not been accepted will soon be informed about their position on the waiting list.
We kindly ask those who have been accepted but have not been able to choose an excursion until now to stay patient for a while, as we will soon will enable them to select an excursion. Of course, all of you will be informed via e-mail about it, however, our system is not quite ready for this challenge yet - so stay tuned!
All guest lecturers have confirmed their participation. Covering varing fields of physics including astronomy, quantum computers, particle physics and even an experimental show; illustrious names such as John Ellis and Peter Zoller will be part of this year's scientific program
Our wait list has been extended, registrations are possible again.
If you still encounter any problems, please contact us via e-mail.
Today the ingoing registrations reached our maximum number of participants. As of now, future registrants will be added to a waiting list - so there is no need to be disappointed, if you haven't already signed up.
Yesterday we accepted the 300th participant of the conference, 3 and a half week after the registration start.
We are pleased to inform you that we had an overwhelming start of the registration phase. We had about 100 participants within the first 24 hours, and more than 200 after the first week.
Already, one of the excursions is fully booked. Unfortunately we cannot increase the number of participants for the Glacier trip due to constraints concerning the cable car.
Thank you all for that amazing interest in our conference.
From today you are invited to register for the ICPS 2010 using the Registration form on this website!
Our new website is online! Here, we will provide you with the latest infos about our efforts to host the next ICPS, and we will give you important information concerning the conference in Graz.
